So we're in the last month of Winter and I'm really excited for the upcoming sping and summer. It's the first Summer where I'm actully going to be "free," I think.
So I decided to plan out a few adventures and a few places that I might go along and see.

So the first up is the Figure of Eight pools not too far from home.
When I first saw the figure of eight pools, I fell in love with it almost immediately. It was an amazing sight that I'm sure everyone would love!

The pools are only a few kilometres out of Otford, with a pretty decent walk to get to them. The views from the pools and surrounds are ones that you don't get tired of throughout the day; the ocean is a magnificent blue, and the rock formations are intriguing.
I could easily spend the day walking to, from and exploring this area. Though to make it more interesting, an idea is to continue along The Coast Track. Twenty-eight kilometres in total, it is one of the most rewarding hikes I've completed. The coastline constantly there to keep you motivated. Next time I walk this walk, I'll be walking from Bundeena To Otford to shake things up a little.
Boulder Bay - Bournda N.P

Boulder Bay, located near Tathra seems like a beautiful, secluded beach on the New South Wales South Coast. From what I can gather, there are several attractions in and around the Bournda National Park which could make your visit to the beach just that much more rewarding.
If you grab a group of friends and head to this excellent destination, I'm sure you will be promised a wonderful day.
P.S. Visiting the South Coast area during September/October ish? During the Holidays is a great time to see heaps of whales breaching. It's an amazing sight!
Winifred Falls - The Royal N.P

This Waterfall is located pretty close to home so I can guaruntee that I will be going here soon! I have wanted to visit this waterfall for year, just never getting the chance! So with a small walk their from Audley Weir or a longer walk from Loftus, you can pleasure yourself with a nice swim near, and even under the Waterfall. An experience that only limited people would get to enjoy.
Fingal Head

As much as I would love to see this magnificent place, it is very far away from home, But I will see what I can do! Fingal Head is located at Tweed Heads, (right on the NSW/QLD border)
and it honestly looks like it has been crafted by magic. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it there this Summer but hey! I do plan on going on a bit of a roadtrip, so this might just be an ideal stop!
Mt Kosiosckzo - Kosiosckzo N.P

The tallest mountain in Australia is only about a 6-hour drive from Sydney! At 2888 metres tall, this mountain has a spectacular walk that is designed for almost everyone to complete. Visiting this mountain is a spectacular experience and is very rewarding. This one is definitley on my list for this summer.
Now, I hope you have already started planning out your summer trips, and are looking forward to summer as much as I am. Who knows, I might see you around!
