About me!

Since my last post, this blog has been on my mind pretty much all day, everyday since Thursday. Now Monday, I thought today would be the day where I would plan out aspects of my blog, from when I'll be posting so that it won't interfere with my school life, and what I'll be posting. I've made a huge list of what I would like to post, with topics ranging from camping and adventures, to book reviews and baking. Either way I have a lot planned, so stay tuned!

Getting in to today's treat, I thought that introducing myself to everyone would be a good way to go.
A way for everyone to get to know me and get to know the girl that is behind this blog. They're in no particular order, and are completely random facts and thoughts I came up with, so with no further adieu, here are 25 facts about me!


  1. My name is Jennifer
  2. I have been a scout for approximately 12 years
  3. During my time there I have had many accomplishments, my most recent being my Queens Scout Award.
  4. I am currently completing my last year of school
  5. I am almost 18 years old
  6. I am 165cm tall (about 5.4?)
  7. I have only ever broken two bones, a finger and a toe. Both incredibly well done, with one even needing surgery.
  8. I can never finish a glass of orange juice.
  9. I don't try to be, but I am a very unorganised person.
  10. I have had short hair for 6 years, only trying to regrow it once before realising it was a big mistake.
  11. I am currently in a long distance relationship, and there are almost 500km between us.
  12. I have always lived with a pet in the house, my current Cat is Margo and she is about 8-9 months old.
  13. I have never been overseas, however I love the idea of travel. 
  14. I used to go on heaps of road trips with my dad around the eastern side of Australia.
  15. I absolutely love camping, the simpler it is, the better.
  16. I prefer the country to the city. The city has a lot of people and the pollution gets sickly. 
  17. I'm mildly claustrophobic, it depends on the situation
  18. I was allergic to peanuts my whole life until last year when I was officially cleared and had my epi-pen taken off of me.
  19. I am very easily distracted.
  20. I also procrastinate... a lot. 
  21. I (still) often get my lefts and rights confused.
  22. My worst habit is biting my nails...
  23. My mind changes quicker than the weather most days, so I find it extremely hard to make difficult decisions.
  24. I absolutely love bath bombs! However, we don't own a bath.
  25. I also love candles, however I'm not allowed to burn them. This has created a pretty awesome collection.

A Bullet Journal is a very personal thing for most people, and for me that means making it my own in every single way possible. My previous bullet journals have been filled with sketches and doodles, full of colour. And that was what I liked most about them. School, Studying and Stress

I've wanted just to sit down and write for so long as it's been ages since I've written a post, but every time I've sat down, I've been disturbed by either homework, more study, or home life. I'm still disappointed that it's taken me so long though. So currently I'm in the last week of school holidays before I go back to school. I have been studying like a mad idiot for about a week, summarising everything, writing essay paragraphs, doing practice exams. I think the worst part about it all, is that even though I've accomplished so much, it's taken me this long to get around to writing study notes that I'm still so behind. I have just under four weeks until my exams. I'm hoping that I can have everything done, or most things completed by then. Places to Visit this Summer!

So we're in the last month of Winter and I'm really excited for the upcoming sping and summer. It's the first Summer where I'm actully going to be "free," I think. So I decided to plan out a few adventures and a few places that I might go along and see. The Figure of Eight Pools  - The Royal N.P http://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/~/media/A6F39A3430CC43EEA99AB0B957049ED9.ashx So the first up is the Figure of Eight pools not too far from home. When I first saw the figure of eight pools, I fell in love with it almost immediately. It was an amazing sight that I'm sure everyone would love! The pools are only a few kilometres out of Otford, with a pretty decent walk to get to them. The views from the pools and surrounds are ones that you don't get tired of throughout the day; the ocean is a magnificent blue, and the rock formations are intriguing.
